December 13 marked the 2008 CvSU Alumni Grand Homecoming held at the CvSU Quadrangle. It started with a parade at the town of Indang immediately followed by the opening program with Atty. Paulino R. Ersando, the CVSUAA past president, as guest speaker. IRHS Class 1958 and DSAC HS and Collegiate Batch 1983 as the 2008 Golden and Silver Jubilarians, respectively, hosted the affair.

     The occasion was highlighted by the awarding of certificate of appreciation to selected alumni (85 years old and above), the turnover rites to the 2009 Golden and Silver Jubilarians and the election of Board of Directors for 2009 - 2010.

   The message of the theme of the celebration dubbed as "PINAGYAMAN KALIKASAN, SUSI NG KAUNLARAN" weisi deeply conveyed in the poem authored by Mi. Antonio Constante, IRHS Class 1951.
