The College of Engineering and Information Technology celebrated its 24th Foundation Day last October 06, 2009. with the theme "CEIT... accepting the challenges of excellence". The CvSU Chorale Ensemble opened the program with doxology and national anthem. Dr. Hernando D. Robles, the Vice President for Administrative and Support Services delivered the welcome remarks while the College Dean, Engr. Renato B. Cubilla gave an inspirational talk. The TESDA Provincial Director, Dir. Leticia O. Ogbac served as this year's guest speaker.

One of the highlights of the said event is the recognition and awarding of certificates for the board passers from school years 2004-2009,Dean's listers, President and Vice Presidents awards.

The afternoon activities were graced with Academic and Socio-Cultural Contests (Quiz Bee, Vocal-Solo, Hip-Hop Dance Contest)wherein a lot of students participated.

After the said activities, a thanksgiving party followed. During the said affair, Mr. Marlon Pereña and Ms. Joanne Nuestro awarded certificates of participation/appreciation to the CEIT players and CEIT Pep Squad for bagging the golds and getting the over-all champion award on the last University Games 2009.
