The Cavite State University celebrated the 2009 University Games last September 14-18, 2009. The theme for this year's celebration is " Strengthening Unity Through Excellence in Sports ".

The vice Governor of the province, Hon. Dencito P. Campaña graced the affair. He gave an inpsiring message not only for the players but for the CvSU community as well.

The intramurals was formally opened with the lighting of the urn headed by the University President, Dr. Divinia C. Chavez, assisted by the vice presidents, the directors and deans of the 16 colleges and satellite campuses.
