The Cavite State University celebrated the Annual University Games last September 10-14,2012 with a theme: "Continuing Adherence to Sports towards a stronger University". This year's event host is the College of Arts and Sciences. The event was graced by the Representative of Kabataan Partylist, Hon. Raymond V. Palatino. 

Athletes from the College of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (CSPEAR) once again hailed as the over-all champion in the last University Games 2012. Freshmen together with the former competitors of the said sports event battled for the title. CSPEAR got 68 golds, 45 silvers and 17 bronze respectively. Following the lead spot is the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) grabbing the 1st Runner-up spot with 49 golds, 43 Silvers and 54 bronze. College of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Natural Resources (CAFENR) hit the 2nd Runner-up spot grabbing 26, 13, 11 golds, silvers and bronzes correspondingly while the College of Economics, Management and Development Studies landed with 23 golds, 9 silvers and 30 bronzes placing them in the 3rd spot.

Bacoor Campus kicked the 4th spot with 20 golds, 9 silvers, and 23 bronzes. All winners and competitors of the Annual University Games worked with solidarity, team spirit and camaraderie to prove that through sports, upholding excellence and unity is always possible. 

The College of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation manage to claim their title over colleges and satellite campuses for the last three consecutive years.
