The Cavite State University together with the President, Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors, students from main campus, Faculty and Staff from different satellite campuses celebrated its 12th Foundation Day last February 11, 2010 with the theme "Strengthening Foundations for Continuing Leadership in the Region".

The ceremony for Wreath Laying held at Don Severino Monument started at 7:30 in the morning followed by the Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service at 8:00 am. Recognition Program went after as the CvSU welcomed the former Vice Governor of the Province of Cavite, Hon. Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla, wherein he served as the Guest Speaker of the said occassion. The University also recognized and gave plaques to all the Loyalty and Service Awardees (Faculty and Staff) which os one of the highlights of the program.

The afternoon activities were refined w/ Academics and Cultural contests for the students. Grabbing the winning spot in categories Oration, Poetry Interpretation, Story Telling, Math Quiz, Likhawit (Songwriting), Science Quiz, and Tipa at Tugtugan (Solo Instrument) are the participants from the College of Engineering and Information Technology.

The night events were graced with the Faculty and Staff Duet Competition and Hip Hop Dance Contest wherein a lot of Academic Faculty Members and Non-Academic staff participated. The Oath Taking of the new set of Officers of Faculty Association Officers and Non-Academic Employees Association were also presented that night. Mary Grace Mendoza and Michael Olase won the Faculty and Staff Duet Competition while the CEIT Tigers succeeded in claiming the victory on the Hip Hop Dance Competition. The rest of the employees enjoyed the social/ballroom dancing after the said activities.
